I highly recommend Goodiel Electric. Glenn is professional, on time, and does good clean electrical work at a fair price.
As an owner of a Home Management and Real Estate Company… it is important to have someone reliable, responsible and someone who shows up when scheduled. My customers depend on me and I depend on my service providers. I have been using Glen since I started my business and have found Glen to be dependable and honest. I recommend him to my customers.
As a tiling contractor, working in Port St. Lucie, I have had the pleasure of working on projects where Glenn Goodiel was also at work. He was conscientious in his work and courteous enough to take care not to damage my work in progress. That courtesy was much appreciated. The end result was that the homeowner got quality workmanship from both his electrician and tiling contractor. A win-win for all involved.
“Glenn is a top-notch electrician. He quickly fixed the power problem we were having in our computer room. I’ve called him many times and have always been happy with his work.”
Found Goodiel Electric on Craigslist. Glenn showed up at scheduled time for job. Work was done in a professional/prompt manner and looking clean when completed. We will be using him in future when the need arises. Thanks!
We highly recommend Glen as an electrician who comes with short notice vs. the usual electrical local company which tells you that maybe they could fit you into their schedule in 3 weeks!
He took care of our needs efficiently and expertly.
We have had him return to do other electrical items.
We cannot recommend him more. He is dependable and fits each customer into his schedule very promptly.
Without a doubt, he is our “go to” electrician.
I had been trying to get an electrician to come and install some outside lighting around my home for more than a year, but no one ever showed up, until I found Glenn Goodiel. I left a message on his VM, and he very quickly returned my call, then came out to look at the job, within a week he was back at my home installing my outside lighting, he did and outstanding job, very professional, his work is neat, and top notch, he used the best materials, and was completely upfront about his pricing and cost, and he had great suggestion about how to do the job better, and cheeper. Glenn is certified in the top of the electrical contractor ranks, and has many years in the electrical contracting industry. You will not be sorry by calling Glenn, He is also a very nice, local Florida native.
We had some serious ground and nuetral wiring issues with our 60 year old small house in Jensen Beach, Glenn was the right man for the job, between his extensive knowledge and state of the art tracing tools, he was able to pinpoint all the issues and get everything resolved in a timely manner, we highly recommend Glenn and will be recommending him to anyone who asks for an electrical contractor reference.

Hurricane Safety Plan
Got a well thought out hurricane safety plan?
The 2021 Atlantic hurricane season is upon us. For anyone living on Florida’s Treasure Coast, a well thought out hurricane safety plan is essential. Safety should always be your first priority. To insure that safety, potential hazards need to be eliminated prior to a storms.
Electricity is a major concern when a severe storm comes upon us. Goodiel Electric urges you to be prepared and be aware of potential electrical hazards at all times, especially during and after a severe storm. While in the eye of a hurricane is no time to be preparing an electrical generator or trimming trees away from power lines. The time for that action is now.
Got a Backup Generator?
Permanent Standby Backup Generator.
If you plan to ride out a hurricane at home, seriously consider installing a permanent standby backup generator. A permanent standby generator is often viewed as the best option for homeowners because it can provide automatic, whole-home power during extended outages. When the utility power is lost during a hurricane a standby backup generator can literally be a life saver. When severe weather strikes it may take the utility company days or possibly weeks to restore power.
If a permanent standby generator is to be part of your hurricane safety plan, be sure to use it properly. Hire a licensed electrician to connect the generator to your house wiring using a transfer switch to prevent your generator from back-feeding utility lines. Contact Goodiel Electric for your standby home generator system installation. Enjoy the total peace of mind that comes with knowing you have a constant and reliable power supply for your Treasure Coast home or business.
Portable, gasoline-powered generators.
Portable, gasoline-powered generators are dangerous and noisy, but better than nothing when electrical power is lost in a hurricane. But, the dangers are many and care must be take to use the equipment properly.
Power Line Tree Trimming.
When trees grow into or near power lines, they can cause power interruptions. The dangers involved in trimming trees around power lines are well know and respected by professionals. If in dought about whether you should be trimming a tree yourself, call FPL for advice. They monitor tree growth and trim the entire length of their power lines on a regular basis. It is in their interest to insure their utility lines are not exposed to likely damage from trees and vegetation around power lines. If a tree condition needs trimming outside of regular maintenance, FPL will let you know by leaving an inspection notice card with a scheduled work date.
